Located on a gorgeous 52-acre facility, Camp Davis has been creating summer memories for generations of Tennessee families for nearly 90 years. Although many things have changed from the early days, the core values have always remained the same: fun, nature, love, holy community, growth and righteousness. Whether enrolled in our Traditional Camp, or one of our exceptional Specialty Tracks, Camp Davis campers actively engage in the process of Tikkun Olam: Repairing the World.

Hours

Drop off is Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 8:30 am; pick up is 3:30 pm - 3:45 pm. Early care is available Mon - Fri 7:00 am - 8:00 am and extended care is available until 6:00 pm Mon - Thu and 5:45 pm on Fri. Each camp session is one week (Mon - Fri) in length.

Eligibility

The youngest campers must be five-years-old by August 30 and entering Kindergarten for that school year. The oldest campers are rising 6th graders. Leadership Track begins in 7th grade and continues through 10th grade. Camp K'toni- an extension of the amazing Early Childhood Program- is available for children age 2-4. With the same pick up and drop off times it is a great solution for kids who are not yet old enough for Camp Davis. Children from all different cultures and customs are welcome.

Fees

Grades K-6 Traditional Camp: $285/325; Grades K-6 Specialty Track: $315/350; Grades 7-8: $230/260; White Water Rafting Trip add on for Grades 7-8: $100; Grades 9-10: $115/130. Extended care for one camp week is: AM care: $45/65; PM care: $65/90. Scholarship opportunities and a 5% sibling discount are available. The lower rates apply to members of the Gordon JCC. Campers can also save money by enrolling early.

Description

The Gordon JCC offers extended child care for children 6 weeks through 6th grade. Care for preschool-age children is handled in the Early Learning Center. Planet Kid runs weekdays 2:30-6pm (except Fridays*) for children in grades K through 4. Club 56 is for children in grades 5 and 6. Structured and unstructured activities are geared to developing social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills. Two separate but linked classrooms for school-age children allow staff to provide planned activities and games in one room, while keeping the other room quieter for homework, reading and low key activities. Homework is important, so tutors are on-hand to help your child complete their tasks. Books, games, puzzles and friends are always here, and the facilities of the Gordon JCC allow us to spend time outside the classroom too.

Fees

Planet Kids and Club 56 fees: $100 to $401/week per child depending upon how many days per week the child is enrolled and whether or not the child's family has a membership with the Gordon JCC. Fees are subject to change.

Intake Procedure

Complete the online Planet Kids application for children 5 to 6th grade and submit with required fees. Submit an Early Learning Center application and fees for children 6 weeks to 5 years.

The Gordon JCC offers a state of the art fitness center, indoor saltwater pool, gyms for basketball and racquetball, group exercise classes, personal training packages, indoor track, Tot-Spot complimentary childcare, senior and adult programs, art shows and galleries, outdoor saltwater 50m lap swimming pool, tetherball, sand volleyball court, shaded baby pool, outdoor locker rooms and showers, and cafe & snack bar with BBQ.

Membership dues range from $39 to $108/month and are based on a full year commitment. Summer memberships are available. There is an additional $8.25 monthly security fee. Anyone unable to pay the stated membership dues may complete the scholarship application. No day passes are available. Fees are subject to change.

Description

The Early Childhood Learning Center is a preschool for children 6 weeks to 5 years that offers a 2, 3, or 5 day a week program. The center has DHS licensing and also offers Camp K’Toni, a summer “camp” for children 2 to 4 years.

Early care offered Mon - Fri 7:00 am - 8:30 am; regular care is 8:30 am - 3:00 pm; after care offered 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm or 6:00 pm.

Fees

The Early Childhood Learning Center fees: 1st child application fee is $150 and sibling application fee is $100; infant or toddler deposit is $500 and preschooler deposit is $300 with deposits applied to first month's enrollment fee. Monthly enrollment fees range from $495 - $1,375 depending on the age of the child and the number of days attending per week. Before and after-care is available for fees up to $490/month. Those unable to pay stated fees may submit a scholarship application, which is usually due late March or early April prior to the year the child will start at the ELC. Those applying to the ELC are expected to be members of the Gordon JCC. Fees subject to change.
