Volunteer Opportunities:
Paradise Ranch operates with the help of many volunteers ages 9 and up. Previous experience working with horses or individuals with disabilities is not necessary. Each volunteer is trained for their specific job. Volunteers include mount leaders that lead the horses as directed by the instructor or side walkers walking beside the rider. Volunteers also provide valuable assistance with special events which include horse shows and fundraisers.

Description
Paradise Ranch's mission is to empower persons with special needs to grow physically, mentally, socially and spiritually through equestrian and other recreational activities. They started their riding program in 1998, with only 8 clients and 4 horses. The program has expanded to including therapeutic horseback riding for both adults and children, with a certified CHA & PATH riding instructor on staff.
