Description:
MALS may be able to assist with issues relating to car purchases, collections, student loans, public utility problems, employment matters, accessibility issues, special education rights and income tax problems. The MALS Consumer Unit offers free Consumer Advice Clinics, low income tax clinics during tax season and PEAP (Partnership for Educational Advocacy and Parity), which offers legal assistance to families with children with special needs to make sure they receive rights and resources they are entitled under the Individuals With Disabilities Act (IDEA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.

MUST CALL FOR APPOINTMENT FIRST! Intake Hours: Mon - Thu 9:00 am - 4:00 pm; Fri 9:00 am - 12:30 pm; leave a message and calls will be returned within 2 days
