Description:

School-based early and aftercare program that is available when MNPS schools are in session for the full day (unavailable during breaks or half days). Children receive tutoring and homework help, enrichment activities, physical education opportunities, and snacks. Extended child care offered to children in kindergarten through 8th grade at selected MNPS schools: Stratton, Sylvan Park, Churchwell, Cockrill, Ida B. Wells, KIPP Kirkpatrick, and Rose Park. Locations are subject to change.

Hours:

Mon - Fri 6:45 am - 7:45 am and 3:50 pm - 6:00 pm. Care is only offered when MNPS schools are in session for the full day. No care is provided during breaks or on half days.

Intake Process:

Complete the online registration packet for the selected school and submit it to the site director.

Program Fees:

$50 per semester per child registration fee due in August and January plus an annual enrollment fee per child of $810 for early care and $1360 for aftercare. If enrolled in aftercare, early care is available at a reduced rate of $405. Financial aid may be available. Fees are subject to change.

Students who attend KIPP Kirkpatrick Elementary School.
