The Y offers CPR classes that provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to become certified in CPR. Specific CPR classes are also offered for adult CPR and infant/child CPR certifications.

Description

Learn the skills you need to become a certified lifeguard from the YMCA. All lifeguards trained by the Y are certified through the American Red Cross, a nationwide leader in water safety and lifeguard instruction. Many participants who complete lifeguard training are eligible to become employed at the Y as lifeguards.

Description

After Breast Cancer (ABC) is a program for survivors by survivors that provides education and healing for body, mind and spirit after a breast cancer diagnosis. Participants learn about healthy eating, resume or begin a regular exercise program that is right for them and form a healing community in small group discussions led by a trained facilitator. ABC is completely free of charge, and funded by grants, private donations and generous corporate and community sponsors. New groups start every 16 weeks.
