Description
The YMCA's literacy program (Y-Literacy) helps struggling readers in grades K-5 gain confidence by increasing their reading comprehension and literacy skills. The YMCA offers free one-on-one tutoring to students who are reading below their grade level. The curriculum covers all of the essential components of literacy: phonics, fluency, comprehension, vocabulary and writing.
