Description

Learn the skills you need to become a certified lifeguard from the YMCA. All lifeguards trained by the Y are certified through the American Red Cross, a nationwide leader in water safety and lifeguard instruction. Many participants who complete lifeguard training are eligible to become employed at the Y as lifeguards.

Hours

Hours vary. Sessions are typically offered one weekend, per month. Fri 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm and Sat - Sun 9:00 am - 6:00 pm.

Open to all individuals, ages 16 or older

Fees

$160 for YMCA members and $180 for non-members. Fees are subject to change.
