Knoxville-Knox County- Community Action Committee - Office on Aging - Senior Care Calls

Description:

A program of the Knox County Office on Aging that provides check-in calls from trained volunteers to seniors who are homebound, isolated, may be suffering from a recent loss, coping with grief, or loneliness. This contact provides support, companionship, and referrals to other social services if needed, such as errand-running services, grocery assistance, and general tech support. Seniors can be referred to Senior Care Calls through a form that can be found at knoxseniors.org/senior-care-calls/. Please let the senior know that you are referring them, and that someone from the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) will be calling them at home during the week to match them with a volunteer.

Hours:

Mon-Fri 8:30 am - 4:45 pm
