Description:
Provides emergency food and clothing as well as offering clothes closet appointment and food boxes with food to prepare. Provides a daily meal bag with ready to eat food every Monday - Thursday from 9:00 am - 11:00 am (or while supplies last, need to arrive 9:00 am - 9:30 am); a Friday hot breakfast every Friday (from 8:00 am - 10:00 am or while supplies last); and emergency clothing, including underwear, socks, t-shirts and hygiene kits as inventory allows on Wednesdays (from 8:00 am - 10:00 am). Also provides appointments for persons or families in need to receive seasonal clothing for women and children. Call appointment line at (901)722-4733; and family food boxes with non-perishable foods to cook via Mobile Pantry Monday - Thursday at 9:00 am - 11:00 am (or while supplies last...first come, first served). Persons may just walk up for emergency food (Mon - Thurs) and clothing (on Wednesdays) or Friday breakfasts; must call for appointments to receive clothing from the clothes closet. Photo ID and proof of address required for Clothing closet appointments and mobile food pantry.

Intake Process:
Anyone in need may walk up to the front porch of Outreach Center (85 N. Cleveland) for free emergency food (daily meal bag) or emergency clothing/hygiene kit, or on Friday for free hot breakfast; Food Pantry boxes are available Monday - Thursday via a drive-thru pantry in parking lot of 1325 Jefferson Ave.; others may call for appointment to receive women and children's clothing from the clothes closet at (901)722-4733. Proof of address and photo ID are required at the appointment for the clothes closet or free food boxes.
Homeless clients seeking permanent housing can also walk up to the Midtown Outreach Center during weekday mornings or call (901)722-4700 to request an intake appointment.
