Intake Process:

See website, email or call with any questions about absentee ballots
-Application forms and additional information can be found at www.GoVoteTN.gov or by contacting your local county Election Commission
- The signed application can be submitted by mail, faxed or scanned.
- The Election Commission will mail the actual ballot back to you with instructions.
- Return your completed ballot by mail to the Election Commission so that it is received by the close of Election Day.

Eligibility:

-Be a registered voter and have voted in person in a previous election.
-Submit an application for a mail-in/absentee ballot 7-90 days before an election to their county election commission.
-Meet the voter eligibility criteria. The most common reasons are that the voter is: 60 years or older, sick or disabled or the caretaker of someone sick or disabled, a temporary reason was added for elections as of 2020: !€œit is impossible or unreasonable to vote in person due to the COVID-19 situation.!€
