Carey Counseling Center - Benton County - Camden Mental Health Outpatient Center

Description:

Provides general counseling for individuals (children, teens and adults), groups and families, case management, medication management, and support groups for people experiencing mental and emotional problems. Services offered (may not be available at all offices) include DUI Classes, anger management, stress management, grief counseling, respite care services, ADHD Treatment and alcohol and drug evaluation and treatment. Carey Counseling Center has six outpatient centers in northwest Tennessee located in: Camden, Huntingdon, Trenton, Paris, Union City and Martin. Accepts TennCare and provides assistance through the Behavioral Safety Net offered from the TN Department of Mental Health.

Hours:

Mon - Fri 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; Walk in Clinic for first time appointments (must call ahead for appointment) available Mon - Fri from 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Intake Process:

Call (800) 611-7757 to schedule appointment. To qualify for the sliding scale fee or the Behavioral Safety Net, please bring these items to your first visit: Birth certificate or Social Security Card, Photo ID, Valid piece of mail with address (like a utility bill, etc.) and proof of income (pay stub, bank statement, letter of support if you have no income)

Program Fees:

Sliding-scale fee based on income and number of persons in the household; also accepts TennCare, Medicare, and some private insurance. Payments are due at the time of service. CAREY accepts cash, checks or money orders, but DOES NOT accept debit or credit cards.
Persons without insurance can apply through the office for assistance through the TN Dept of Mental Health Behavioral Safety Net
