Description:
Provides rent and mortgage assistance to Davidson County residents. To be eligible, individuals must have:
* a legal lease/mortgage in their name
* experiencing a one-time financial hardship that can be documented
* enough income in the home moving forward to pay their bills
Deposit assistance is available only for those who are homeless or live in market rate rentals or for those who are moving into income based housing.
To apply visit www.rooftopnashville.org to complete an online application. Applications can be found under "Get Help" and can be accessed from a computer or a smartphone. NOTE: APPLICATION WEBSITE WILL CLOSE DOWN WHEN APPLICATION CAPACITY IS FULL. AS OF MARCH 28, 2024, FUNDING IS LIMITED.
If unable to complete an online application, there is a drop box located at the building with paper applications. Rooftop does not accept walk in customers. Online applications are normally open Monday at 8:00 am - Wednesday at 5:00 pm. However, applications may close down early due to high volume.
