Some Memphis area Kroger pharmacies have started offering a limited number of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) vaccines (as of February 24, 2021). There are also some sites available in Desoto County, MS and there will be some sites offered in Arkansas this week. Vaccines will be by appointment-only, and only offered to eligible people in accordance with the vaccination phases. To reserve an appointment, go to the website (Kroger.com/i/coronavirus-updates/vaccine) call 1-866-211-5320 or check with your local Kroger pharmacy about availability. Shelby County has already been vaccinating groups 1a1 and 1a2, and 1b; on 3/8/21 group 1c will be eligible (keep in mind that this is changing frequently and varies by county). Vaccine is free, but if you have insurance, TennCare, Medicaid or Medicare, bring your insurance cards, proof of eligibility and proof of address to the appointment.
