Description:

Provides a 23 bed recuperative care center for homeless persons discharged from the hospital and a family inn for homeless families at the old Collins Chapel Hospital at 409 Ayers Street. Homeless persons must be referred from a hospital or clinic and families have to apply through the Homeless hotline at MIFA (901-529-4545). Case workers are available to speak with persons seeking to refer someone to the Recuperative Care Center, or health care workers may email the site for a possible placement of a homeless patient being discharged.

Persons must be referred to this facility, either from a hospital they are being discharged from, or homeless families must be referred through the MIFA Homeless Hotline (901-529-4545). Health care workers may call or email the site for possible placement of discharged patients who are homeless and need a place to recuperate
