Description:
Since late September 2021, TDOC has provided a 24/7 suicide prevention hotline number for friends or families of prisoners in TN facilities who may be at risk of suicide. The hotline will be routed to TDOC's Central Communication Center, where staff will make notifications to the facility where the offender is housed for immediate intervention if necessary. Friends or family members of prisoners may call 1-833-421-SAVE (7283) at any time to report a prisoner who is feeling suicidal.
