Description:

Provides free harm-reducing services to persons who use or sell drugs, sex workers, persons who are homeless or other at-risk populations in West Tennessee. Operating out of Jackson, TN, they will provide these free services to anyone, 18 or older, who can come to Jackson, TN. Services include providing clean syringes or needles, fentanyl test strips, intramuscular naloxone kits, cookers, cotton and tourniquets; agency also provides brochures about steps to take to protect drug users, such as safe drug use protocols to reduce the risk of opioid overdose or damage caused by drug users who inject (ruptured veins, abscesses, soft tissue damage and scarring); the agency will work with law enforcement agency staff and friends and family of drug users to provide supplies and/or educate them about these issues as well.
