Description:

Provides free credit and money management workshops with individual counseling sessions, free copies of your credit report, budgeting assistance, help in planning to pay off a debt and monthly follow ups, with financial counselors placed in various First Horizon Banks (virtual during pandemic). May also provide assistance in writing dispute or settlement letters with creditors, budget preparation and financial plans for retirement. Operation Hope provides various virtual financial workshops. Financial self-sufficiency is the ultimate goal.

Hours:

Mon - Fri 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Intake Process:

Call or email counselor in your area to set up an appointment; application must be completed before attending a workshop or beginning a financial counseling session

No Fee

Eligibility:

Persons wishing to improve their financial status; must be employed or have some other source of income to participate in the program. Must be age 18 or above.
