Housing office that provides information about eligibility for and vacancies in the subsidized housing properties that are under their jurisdiction for Smith County and Carthage residents. Applicants must meet income eligibility requirements to lease a property. This agency is run by Gallatin Housing Authority.

Rental fees vary by property but are considerably lower than market rate
Eligibility:
Residents of Smith County who meet poverty guidelines from no income to 80% median income. Anyone under 18 must have an emancipation order to apply.
