Healing With Flowers

Description:

Provides floral arrangements to patients in hospitals or to residents of nursing homes. Arrangements are made using recycled flowers from weddings and funerals.

Healing With Flowers recycles flowers by arranging and delivering beautiful bouquets along with moments of kindness to healthcare facilities across Greene County.

A group of dedicated volunteers arrange new bouquets using donated flowers, ribbon, and vases. Each "smile" delivered is made possible by contributions to this outreach.

Many healthcare patients rarely receive flowers or visitors. These arrangements show the patient that people in the community care about them. Healing With Flowers' bouquets may brighten an otherwise lonely day.

To donate flowers after a wedding, funeral, or other event, please call 423-708-4325 to arrange a pickup or dropoff location and time. Or, call to inquire about volunteer opportunities!

Volunteers and donations are welcome.

Meets every Monday at 10AM to prepare floral arrangements.
