Promotes the general welfare and humane treatment of animals in the general area of Coffee and Moore County. Aside from adoption programs, services include financial assistance to spay/neuter pets, emergency pet food, and emergency veterinary payment help for low-income families (no more than 150% of the Federal Poverty Guideline).
**General meetings to discuss organizational updates, fundraisers, volunteer opportunities, and more are held on the last Tuesday of every month (January - October) at 6:30 pm at the Coffee County Administrative Plaza Building, 1329 McArthur Street, Manchester, TN.

Volunteer Opportunities:
Must be 18 or older, unless accompanied by a parent/guardian to volunteer. Previous experience with animals is a plus. Volunteers are used at adoption events and in transporting foster animals to adoption events. There might also be opportunities to help with upkeep of kennels and to assist with special projects, such as building feral cat houses or painting doghouses.

Description
Has a small number of foster homes for dogs, cats, and horses. Foster and Adoptive Homes are always needed. These programs are overseen by a foster/adoption coordinator. Coffee County Humane Society is an approved Adoption Partner with Petco and Petsmart; holds adoption events at the Petco store in Murfreesboro and the Petsmart in Tullahoma. Foster cats are available at the in-store cat room in Tullahoma.

Fees
$30 for cats; $45 for dogs, although fees are waived in some circumstances and can be higher, if pet is pregnant, due to increased vet costs.
