Description:

Provides supervised visitation to families with one or more estranged parents who are not able to visit alone with their child or children. Trained supervised visitation monitors provide on-site visitation in a safe and child-friendly environment. Parenting education is offered if needed. Supervised Visitation consists of separate intakes with both the non-custodial and custodial parent and child orientation visit. Visits typically are 2 hours every 2 weeks on the weekends. Each family has its own room in which to interact and engage in family-friendly activities.

Hours:

Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (Office Hours)
Sat and Sun - supervised visitation days

Intake Process:

Call for appointment; requires state issued photo ID and proof of income, and medical and psychological records for the child if applicable

Interpreters are available with prior notice

Eligibility:

Most families are court-ordered, but self-referral is also considered. Parents can be married, divorced, or never married. Typically one parent is considered the non-custodial parent and would be the supervised parent. Serves Middle TN.
