Girls Incorporated of Johnson City/Washington County is a member of a national nonprofit youth organization dedicated to inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. Girls Inc. has provided vital educational programs to millions of American girls for over 50 years. We are dedicated to providing educational and recreational opportunities that promote the emotional, mental, physical, and social development of today's youth. Today, innovative programs help girls confront subtle societal messages about their value and potential, and prepare them to lead successful, independent, and fulfilling lives.

Girls Inc. develops research based informal education programs that encourage girls to take risks and master physical, intellectual and emotional challenges. Major programs address math and science education, pregnancy and drug abuse prevention, media literacy, economic literacy, adolescent health, violence prevention, and sports participation.

We serve girls ages 5-16 years in after school and summer programs.
After school care is from 3pm-6pm, Monday through Friday.
Summer session is from 7:30am-5:30pm, Monday through Friday.
Cost for after school care is a $10 registration fee and we offer a income-based sliding fee scale for the monthly program fee. We also offer a multiple child discount.
Johnson City Schools transport the girls from school to Girls Inc. every afternoon and the parents are responsible for picking up their girl by 6pm.
We provide a healthy snack for girls when they first arrive at the center.
