Description:
Head Start is a free, comprehensive, developmental preschool program for low income children who are 3-4 years old in Chester County through SWHRA (Southwest Human Resource Agency).
Hours:
Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Intake Process:
Applications need to be filled out and delivered to the Southwest Human Resource Agency on White Avenue in Henderson, TN. Applications may be dropped off Monday-Friday. For more information, call Susie Strickland at 731-608-9049 or 731-989-5192.
Must have completed application with child's official birth certificate and up to date immunization records, photo ID and proof of residence, Child's TennCare insurance card, Date of birth for all family members, proof of income (Past year's Tax form or W-2 forms; or year to date pay stubs or proof of being enrolled in Family First) and two emergency contacts.
