Good Samaritan Ministries is continuing its Hope for the Holidays tradition of providing food and gifts to our community neighbors during the holiday season. We will serve our families by providing food for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, and providing gifts for children in the Be a Light Marketplace.

The Hope for the Holidays program is available to low-income families in Northeast Tennessee with children 17 and younger (including 18 year old children enrolled in high school).

Registration opens on September 20, 2023.

BE A LIGHT MARKETPLACE:
The Be a Light Marketplace is a unique experience to obtain Christmas gifts for children under 17 in Northeast Tennessee. Neighbors who participate in the Hope for the Holidays program may visit the marketplace to choose gift items for children in the household. The marketplace is unique because the facility is arranged as a retail experience, empowering families to choose gift items that best appeal to the wishes and needs of their children.

Hours:

Client services: Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-12:00pm 12:30pm-3:30pm

Eligibility:

For low-income families on some sort of government assistance.
