Description:

Montgomery County Library in Clarksville will serve as a FEMA Disaster Recovery Center, starting Monday, December 18, 2023 from 9:00 am and will be open until February 26, 2024. FEMA staff will be on hand to assist persons impacted by the December 9, 2023 tornadoes to apply for assistance in person. CLOSED CHRISTMAS EVE AND CHRISTMAS DAY.

Hours:

Daily starting Monday, December 18, 2023; Mon and Tue: 9:00 am - 7:45 pm; Wed: 9:00 am -5:00 pm; Thu 9:00 am - 5:30 pm; Fri 9:00 am 0 5:45 pm and Sat 9:00 am - 5:00 pm until further notice; hours and closing subject to change; call the library to confirm current schedule

Intake Process:

Come to the center during opening hours to apply. When you apply, make sure to have the following information ready:

Current phone number where you can be contacted
Address at the time of the disaster and address where you are now staying and valid email address for electronic notification
Social Security Number (at least one person in the household must have a valid SSN; but this can even be a minor)
General list of damage and losses
Banking information if you choose direct deposit (type of bank account, account number and routing number)
Insurance information, if available
