Determines eligibility for:indigent residents of Knox County with no insurance, adult tooth extractions, patient education and temporary Medicaid coverage for pregnant women.

Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Intake Process:

For the Indigent Care Program Call Cherokee Health Systems/Social Services at (865) 934-6730 to schedule an appointment to determine eligibility. Actual Primary Care Services are provided by Cherokee Health Systems on Western Ave. All other clinic services are located at the
Main Health Department at 140 Dameron Ave.
For Medicaid Presumptive Eligibility TNCARE call (865) 215-5400 Social Services of the main Health Department at 140 Dameron Ave.
For Adult Tooth extractions and Children dental assistance contact Dental Services at the Main Health Department (865) 215-5110
