Description:

Community Homes 33 provides shared housing as well as continuing supportive services that include but not limited to outreach activities within the local communities. Outreach activities include providing food, clothing and shoes, toiletries, furniture, and other needed personal items. In times of community disasters, like the recent tornado damage, the agency also provides the affected neighborhoods with hot food plates, tarps, blankets, heaters, and all of the other types of items mentioned above and they are a private non-profit FEMA partner. The agency provides on site shared housing placement including landlord partnerships for households being disrupted who are at 80% or below AMA income; and community housing education and training for first time homebuyers.

Hours:

Mon - Fri 9:00 am - 5:00 pm;

Intake Process:

May call or email with requests for specific household or personal needs (leave your basic contact information with any requests); or see website or Facebook page (www.facebook.com/communityhomes33) for current outreach activities; on Fridays, persons may come in person to receive available food or other goods from the Community Table in the front of the house or may pick up specifically requested items. No Fee for community outreach programs and homebuyer education training; sliding scale fee for Housing Placement services

Davidson County residents in need; the Shared Housing Placement program is for households facing housing disruption who are at or below 80% of the AMA
