Description:

The Moore County Resource Center provides a non-perishable food pantry, once a month perishable food box distribution every second Tuesday of the month, and offers utility assistance and fuel vouchers, perishable food vouchers, free school supplies for students in the fall and a Christmas stocking stuffer toy distribution to households in need in Moore County.

Hours:

Tuesday and Fridays: 9:00 am - Noon; Food Box Distribution is every second Tuesday of the month

Intake Process:

Walk in; if applying for utility help, must provide proof of residence in Moore County, proof of income and state issued photo ID and utility bill cutoff notice and/or utility bill. If applying for the perishable food vouchers, must provide proof of residence in Moore County and a state issued photo ID and proof of income. If applying for a foox box, applicants only need to provide their name and the number of persons in their household. Call at the end of the summer for details on back to school supply giveaway and in the fall for Christmas toy giveaway.
