Description:

Part of the Memphis Public Libraries, LINC, the Library Information Center, provides quick reference information, and the 2-1-1 Call Center provides information about social services, vocational and technical training, community events, local clubs and organizations, and continuing education classes to the citizens of Memphis, Shelby County, and surrounding areas. Memphis 2-1-1 serves Fayette, Shelby, Lake, Obion, Lauderdale, and Tipton counties in TN; Desoto, Tate, and Tunica in Mississippi; and Crittenden County in Arkansas; and is part of the 2-1-1 TN statewide database.

Hours:

HOURS: Mon - Thu 9:00 am- 8:00 pm; Fri 9:00 am - 6:00 pm; Sat 10:00am - 6:00 pm; and Sunday 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.

Intake Process:

Call 2-1-1 or alternate numbers, walk in to the center (ONLY phone service is available from 9:00 am - 10:00 am on Mon - Thu); or check website for information; (click on LINC/2-1-1 icon in middle of home page, then choose Community Information database for 2-1-1 TN); leave voicemail after hours and your call will be returned within 24 hours
