Description:

Provides assistance to residents of Murfreesboro, TN who feel that they may have been discriminated against on the basis of race or color, national origin, religion, gender, disability or familial status in housing related issues, including admission and screening and terms and conditions during tenancy or eviction/termination. Also provides affordable housing assistance for first time homebuyers in the form of downpayment assistance and homebuyer counseling and emergency repair for homeowners with low income in Murfreesboro. Programs include emergency repairs, sewer tap assistance, tree removal, lead paint removal and other types of housing rehabilitation.
