Description:

Provides clothing, food pantry, utility bill payment assistance and school supplies for Hickman County residents in need as well as a thrift store with low priced clothing and household goods. Food pantry provides food to Hickman County residents in need with in-store food pantry available to low income Hickman County residents once every two months. Also provides mobile produce truck once a week and other special holiday food giveaways. Call for details. Utility assistance is available for low income Hickman County residents once every six months.

Hours:

Office Hours for Help: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri and Sat 9:00 am- 2:00 pm; Thrift Store Hours: Mon - Fri 9:00 am - 4:00 pm and Sat 9:00 am- 2:00 pm

Intake Process:

Walk in or call for information; must fill out application in person and provide photo ID, proof of residence, proof of income and utility bill if seeking help with your utility bill

Eligibility:

Food Pantry and Utility Help for low income Hickman County residents only (must have household income at or below the Federal Poverty level; for utility help, individuals must apply for assistance before their utilities are shut off and can receive assistance once every 6 months. Assistance cannot be provided to those whose service has been disconnected or those who have bills from past residences. A disconnection notice is not needed to receive help); clothes closet and mobile food giveaways are for anyone in need and thrift store is open to all
