Description:
Agency provides dog guides to people who are legally blind to empower persons with lifelong skills for safe and independent daily travel. Each year, clients attend our 3 week residential training program to be paired with a guide dog that opens the door to independence, safety and self-worth for many of our students. To attend a class must be legally blind, at least 16 years old, able to care for a dog and efficient with orientation and mobilization skills.
