****NOTICE: DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, RESIDENTS OF SEVIER COUNTY WHO ARE LOOKING FOR UTILITY BIL PAYMENT ASSISTANCE ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY THROUGH THE LOW-INCOME HOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (LIHEAP). LIHEAP PROVIDES ASSISTANCE WITH HOME HEATING AND COOLING NEEDS AND IS OPEN TO ALL HOUSEHOLDS THAT MEET INCOME GUIDELINES AND PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION OF ALL HOUSEHOLD INCOME****
Emergency LIHEAP assistance is reserved for families in crisis and have a cut-off notice or have already been cut off. For further details of eligibility, please go to website at www.dcea-liheap.org/application-process.

Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Intake Process:
Call for an appointment. Must bring photo ID for everyone over 18 years, SS cards for everyone over 18, certification of income for everyone in the household (such as pay stubs, SS or food stamp verification letter listing monthly income, etc.), and proof of residence (such as rent receipt or current electric bill, etc.) Call (865) 453-7131 for information.
