Description:

Agency operates LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) for residents of Grainger County, depending on funding. Provides assistance with home heating and cooling expenses and is open to all residents of Grainger County that meet income guidelines and provide documentation of all household income.

Mon - Fri 9:00 am - 4:30 pm

Intake Process:

Must bring a photo ID for everyone in the household over 18 years, Social Security cards for everyone over 18, verification of income for everyone in the household (such as pay stubs, SS or food stamp award letter that lists monthly income), and proof of residence (such as rent receipt or current utility bill).
