Volunteer tutors are needed to help adults and children improve their reading skills. Training is provided.
Hours:
Mon - Fri 9:00 am - 4:00 pm - please call before visiting the office due to small staff. and COVID restrictions.
Intake Process:
Apply on-line at www.friendsofliteracy.org.
Program Fees:
none
Eligibility:
Adults, 18 and older, with a high-school education or higher may volunteer. They must have independent transportation and be interested in providing literacy. Volunteers with education experience are especially needed.
