Project Linus of East Tennessee - Handmade Blankets for Children

Description:

Agency provides handmade blankets to children age birth to 18 who are in stressful situations, including the hospital, shelters, child advocacy centers, etc. The blankets are handmade by volunteers and donated to Project Linus.

The Agency accepts donations of handmade blankets made of washable cotton fabric, bright colored, child friendly washable yarn, batting - all materials should be new. Agency will provide pick-up service when special arrangement are made.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Project Linus accepts volunteers of all ages to make blankets by crocheting, knitting, quilting, and basic
fleece blankets. Project Linus provides a good opportunity for single or group projects through Girl Scouts, Church Youth Groups, senior citizens and working adults. Work on your own schedule.
