Description:
The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) provides limited assistance with utility bills for low income households through the LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program). Assistance is available one time per year. The funds are paid directly to the energy provider. Crisis applications for families facing power shut-off are taken year-round and are dependent on availability of funds.

Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Intake Process:
LIHEAP applications are taken quarterly during the months of January, April, July, and October. Please call 1-844-309-0416 two weeks prior to the beginning of the intake month. You can download the application on the website www.ethra.org or obtain one at the LIHEAP office. Crisis applications are taken year round with proof of emergency (such as a final cut-off notice), and are dependent on the availability of funds.
