Description:

Families Matter seeks to help families establish healthy families and relationships. Partners with schools, churches and other organizations to provide classes training men, women and youth in understanding healthy relationships. Also represents men and boys through their Fatherhood Initiative, training these individuals on how to be responsible and respective citizens through a program called AFIRM (A Father!€™s Involvement Really Matters and Curriculum called Principles of Manhood, and The Nurturing Father/Parent. Supporting fathers, helping them to understand the need to be in their children's lives, whether or not they are still in the lives of the mothers or not is the overarching goal of this program. Program teaches (both men and women) how to support their children into becoming the successful people they want them to be.

Hours:

Office Hours: Mon - Fri 9:00 am - 5:00 pm; class schedules vary, based on the needs of participants; evening classes offered

Adults, teens and parents interested in building relationships and strengthening the family, especially fathers
