Description:
Dedicated to historical and genealogical material and data for the state of TN. Provides large collection of genealogical and historical materials for research, genealogy classes, speakers and events, including a spring and fall lecture series; most materials and some events are free to the public. Members receive quarterly magazine, discounts on paid society events and other benefits and have unlimited use of the large Regional History & Genealogical Center collection. TNGS is located inside the Germantown Regional History and Genealogy Center.
Hours:
TN Genealogical Society Office: Hours vary due to COVID-19; call first to confirm hours. Staff are working remotely.
Regional History & Genealogical Center Hours: Tue Thu 10:00 am - 2:00 pm; Library Hours: Mon 10:00 am - 2:00 pm; Tue, Thu & Sat 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Most lectures are free to members; some lectures are also free to the public. Membership Dues: $30.00/year individual; $40.00/year joint (dues include subscription to magazine)
