Offers museum located at the historic Lorraine Motel where civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated, with comprehensive overview of American civil rights movement including exhibits, auditorium, gift shop, courtyard for dramatic presentations, film series, King holiday celebration each January, Black History Month celebrations each February, April 4th programs, and Freedom Awards Ceremony in the fall.

Intake Process:
GUESTS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO PURCHASE TICKETS ONLINE PRIOR TO VISITING THE MUSEUM TO GUARANTEE ENTRY (not timed outside of busy season or with large groups) . STAFF AND GUESTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO WEAR FACE MASKS INSIDE THE MUSEUM AND IN ITS COURTYARD EXHIBITS OUTDOORS, BUT THIS IS NOT REQUIRED. VISIT WEBSITE FOR MORE DETAILS AND TO CONFIRM OPENING HOURS.
Program Fees:
$18.00/adults; $16.00/seniors (55+) and college students with ID; $16.00/ages 5-17; $13.00/military active and veterans; Under 4/free. Free admission for Tennesseans every Monday 3:00 pm - closing for Tennessee residents with state issued identification. Not applicable for tour groups & operators.
This offer is NOT valid during nationally observed holidays and special events, including Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day and Columbus Day.
