Spay Memphis

Description:

Provides non-profit veterinary clinic which offers high-quality, affordable spay and neuter surgeries, micro-chipping, and other services which are available at the time of a pet's spay or neuter surgery. Also offers quarterly low-cost vaccine clinics to the public. Spanish speaking staff available and all paperwork is also available in Spanish.

Serves the Mid-South area. By law, all dogs and cats over six months old that are kept within the City of Memphis must be spayed or neutered. There are a number of exceptions but, by and large, most pets must be spayed or neutered in order to comply with this law. All dogs and cats three months or older must also have a current rabies vaccination. Owners of dogs residing in Memphis and Shelby County are required by County Ordinance to license their dog yearly and must present proof of rabies vaccine at the time of license issuance.

Tue - Fri 7:30 am - 5:00 pm

Intake Process:

Call to schedule an appointment; Check-in/Drop-Off is between 7:30 am - 8:30 am Tuesday through Friday.
Seen by appointment ONLY.

Cats and Dogs must be picked up BEFORE 5:00 PM. Please be on time. If you do not pick your pet up on time, your pet will be transported to the Animal Emergency Center on Summer Avenue, where your pet will be boarded at your expense.

Program Fees:

SPAY/NEUTER: $35.00/feral cats; $55.00/cats; $100.00/dogs; $6.00/tags for dogs if residents of Shelby County. Call to see what grants are available for discounted services

Speakers are for schools, businesses, and groups. Anyone may buy pet spay/neuter services
