Description:

Provides food pantry for eligible Tipton County residents once a month at two locations in Tipton County: 9:00 am - 11:00 am on 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month at the First United Methodist Church in Covington in the Fellowship Hall; and 9:00 am - 11:00 am on 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month at the Munford United Methodist Church at 57 S Tipton Street in Munford, TN 38058. Food distribution is limited to one per month per family. Amount of food given is determined by family size. Must bring proof of one of the following to qualify: be recipient of food stamps, TANF, LIHEAP or SSI (retirement or disability); live in public housing, or have a total household income of less than 150% of the US poverty income guidelines. Partner agency of Mid-South Food Bank.

Hours:

9:00 am - 11:00 am on 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month at the First United Methodist Church in Covington in the Fellowship Hall; and 9:00 am - 11:00 am on 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month at the Munford UMC in Munford.

Intake Process:

(CURRENTLY DRIVE UP) with proof of one of the following: that you are the recipient of food stamps, TANF, LIHEAP or SSI (retirement or disability); live in public housing, or have a total household income of less than 150% of the US poverty income guidelines.

Eligibility:

Tipton County residents who meet one of the income requirements listed above. Families can only receive one distribution of food per month.
