Provides faith-based community revitalization support for the Beltline area in Memphis, including blighted housing renovation and sales, complete home rehabilitation and youth enrichment center. The CDC just opened renovated buildings (on Boston Street for campus community center), which provides GED instruction, workforce training and counseling for home maintenance. Their Home Rehab Program provides volunteers to offer counseling for home repair for Beltline residents, which may include roofing, structural repair and repair of heating and cooling systems but homeowner must provide materials for repair and labor. The CDC offers renovated housing in Beltline for sale and for rentals and home repair for seniors over 65 who live in the neighborhood and meet income eligibility. Home Rehab Program Eligibility: Residents of Beltline (area bordered on the west by Hollywood, the south by Southern, the east by Haynes and the north by Central) who need home repair in order to continue to be able to live in their home
