Promotes tourism and economic development in and for Lake and Obion counties in Tennessee and for other charitable,educational, literary, cultural and scientific purposes. Promotes history and businesses of Reelfoot Lake area; sponsors tourist events on the lake including an annual Eagle Festival, usually held the first weekend in February, an Osprey Festival the third weekend in July and an Arts and Crafts Festival the 1st weekend in October and a Pelican Festival the third weekend in October. Accepts volunteers and donations for tourist events.
