Description:

Provides general library services for Arlington residents: books, CDs, DVDs, E-books, Audio books, summer reading program, Story Time, STEM, adult programs and online catalog including genealogy materials. Also offers craft programs for pre-school - middle school age children.

Hours:

Mon 11:00 am - 7:00 pm; Tue, Wed, Thu and Sat 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Intake Process:

Documents required: application, picture ID and proof of residence in Arlington. Applicants 17 and under must apply with a parent or guardian; Students at any Arlington school may get a card for free, even if they are a non-resident.

Program Fees:

Overdue fines: $1.00/day for DVDs; $.10/day for children's materials; $.20 day/adult materials

Eligibility:

Residents of Arlington; Shelby County residents who do do not live in Arlington can get a library card for a $50.00 annual fee; $25.00/annual fee for non-resident Seniors (ages 50 and older); Military families and persons who go to school and Arlington city employees can also get free cards.
