Description:

The Shelby County Office of Re-Entry is a collaborative program to help persons with criminal backgrounds access reentry services. The two main goals of the program are to create connections between Shelby county re-entry resources and specific employers ready to hire people with a criminal history and to provide free hands-on technical and vocational programs to help persons with convictions (felony or misdemeanor) become gainfully employed or to become entrepreneurs. The program is open to residents of Fayette, Shelby and Tipton counties with criminal backgrounds.

Hours:

Office Hours: Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Intake Process:

Must visit office during office to complete the new client intake process. Clients are then assigned to case managers, who are available to help individuals set up and carry out goals for success.

Program Fees:

No Fee

Eligibility:

Anyone with a conviction (felony or misdemeanor) who lives in Fayette, Shelby or Tipton County; must reside in one of these counties to participate.
