Hickory Hill Indoor Pool

Description:

Provides indoor pool open all year round, and summer swimming lessons for adults and children ( ages 5 and older); also provides water aerobics, lifeguard training and water safety instruction. Must register for a pool pass at one of the following community centers: Bickford, Hickory Hill, Orange Mound and Skinner Centers (have year round pool card sign-ups) or at Charles Powell/Westwood, Douglass, Ed Rice, Gaisman, Kate Sexton, Lester, Marion Hale, Pine Hill, Raleigh and Riverview Centers during the summer pool season. Persons can apply online and then should go to the center with appropriate documents to obtain the pool pass.

Summer Hours (Open Swim): Mon - Fri 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm; Sat 10:00 am - 5:00 pm; (Lessons Only) Mon - Fri 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm Fall Hours (Open Swim): Mon, Wed & Fri 9:00 am - 5:00 pm; Tues and Thu Noon - 5:00 pm; Sat 10:00 am - 5:00 pm; (Lessons Only) Mon - Fri 4:00 pm - 7:15 pm
Pool Party Room Rentals: Available at Hickory Hill pool on select days. Rooms have direct access to the pool and the room can host 15 - 30 people. The aquatic staff sets up the room, the renters bring in their own food, drink and therefore can enjoy the pool at the same time. Cost: $100.00 for two hours in addition to a $100.00 refundable cleaning deposit. Please call for availability.

Intake Process:

To register: Ages 17 and under must be accompanied by parent or guardian; minors without state issued ID must bring certified birth certificate or other form of ID with birth date listed. Ages 18 and older must bring drivers license or other picture ID and proof of residence. Adults accompanying ages 12 and under to pools must also register and receive ID cards. Photo ID cards issued at registration, and no one is allowed to register someone else who is not present. This means children must accompany parent or guardian to registration.This also means that if you are going to have another adult take your child swimming, they must also be at registration to receive pool ID card. If you have a pool ID card, you DO NOT register again. However, you must register again if your card is lost, you have turned 13 since last receiving a card, or have turned 18 since receiving pool card.
