Description:
PERSONS MAY CALL NOW TO HAVE THEIR NAMES PUT ON A WAITING LIST. Renewal Place provides intensive, two-year transitional housing program with substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation program for women ages 18 and older with at least one child under the age of 12; children stay with mothers during treatment. Will consider accepting children over the age of 12 into the program on a case by case basis. Provides temporary shelter, intensive case management, help in finding employment, affordable housing, health care, GED preparation, and substance abuse treatment and counseling.

Eligibility:
Homeless women 18 or older with substance abuse problems and at least one child under the age of 12; mother must have custody of children for them to stay with her in the program. Children must stay with their mothers during treatment.
