Description:

Responds to inquiries, issues and complaints concerning upkeep of public housing. Residents should first call their property managers. If issue is not resolved, then call the Division of Housing Services Operations; may also file a complaint online at the HUD website.

NOTE: WAIT LIST CLOSED; APPLICATIONS NOT BEING TAKEN AT THIS TIME. Call your property manager first, then the Division of Housing Services if the issue or complaint is not resolved; may also submit an inquiry online at the MHA website (www.memphisha.org) or at the HUD website (www.HUD.gov)

Program Fees:

Rent is 30% of a person's adjusted gross income or a minimum rent of $50.00, whichever is higher

Eligibility:

Residents with issues regarding their public housing. To be eligible for low income public housing, household income must not exceed 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI). Households with income that does not exceed 30% of AMI will receive priority on the waiting list.
