Description:

Provides evaluations and training that enable people with low vision to use it as effectively as possible. Provides in-home training for children 3 years old and under. Provides adaptive equipment for developing the ability to travel independently using one-on-one instruction and provides cane travel training.

Hours:

Mon - Thu 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Fri 8:00 am - 3:00 pm

Intake Process:

Walk in or call for details. Referrals accepted form TN Vocational Rehabilitation, TEIS, and the community. Can provide Spanish speakers or staff with American Sign Language capabilities with prior notice.

Program Fees:

Fees vary, but may be covered by the referral source.

Eligibility:

Persons of any age with a vision impairment from birth through senior citizens in all counties in West TN.
